Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), also called Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), is a neurological disorder that causes a range of problems that can have negative impacts at school, at work, at home, and in relationships.

Both adults and children are affected. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 20% of boys and 11% of girls are being diagnosed with the condition. It is estimated that 4.4% of American adults have ADD.
